Who we are

Bidding Enterprise is a construction estimating company built around one idea: contractors don't need another vendor that sends a takeoff over the wall — they need estimators who know their business. So we build them a team.

Our clients are subcontractors, general contractors, suppliers, and developers. Each one gets estimators dedicated exclusively to their company, recruited for their trade, trained on their templates and historicals, and working in their time zone and software. We carry the hiring, training, quality control, PTO coverage, and management.

With 600+ estimators, we're one of the largest construction estimating teams in the U.S. Our teams have estimated more than 140,000 jobs, with projects in 45 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, plus Canada and Australia. Bidding Enterprise is ranked #63 in Construction on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies.

What "full-service" means to us

We run the whole pre-construction lifecycle, not just the takeoff: project sourcing and GC outreach, scope writing, quantity takeoffs, labor-hour models, unit-rate analysis, sub and supplier coordination, RFIs, value engineering, scope leveling, proposal writing, bid follow-up, and win/loss and market research. See estimating for general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

How we build it

People · Process · Software

Three layers that turn an outside vendor into an inside team.

01 — People

Estimators who already speak your scope.

We recruit for your trade, then train your estimators on your standards, past bids, and the way you win.

  • Dedicated to your company — never shared
  • Your time zone, tools, and templates
  • Hiring, training, QA, and PTO coverage on us
02 — Process

Pre-construction, owned end to end.

From finding the right projects to a submitted, defensible bid — run like an in-house precon department.

  • Project sourcing & GC outreach
  • Scope writing, takeoffs & labor-hour models
  • RFIs, VE, scope leveling, proposals & follow-up
03 — Software

Your software. Your formats. We build on them.

Whatever you estimate in — Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, STACK, or your own templates — your team works in it, in your formats, and builds on what you already have. Then we add Build Intel and Dexter on top.

  • Your software — 100+ tools, whatever you use today
  • Your formats, templates and bid forms, kept as you like them
  • Dexter, our AI co-estimator, plus automated QC

Build Intel and Dexter

Estimating 140,000+ jobs showed us where the hours hide, so we built Build Intel — the AI-assisted estimating software every Bidding Enterprise team uses. Its co-estimator, Dexter, reads drawings and specs and answers questions with cited references, supports takeoffs, runs sub and supplier outreach, levels scopes and quotes, and runs QC checks that flag missing scope and pricing outliers before a bid goes out.

Build Intel is included with every team. It works alongside your own software — your team keeps working in the tools and formats you already use, so nothing about how you estimate has to change.

Quality and technical management behind every estimator

Every estimator on a client team is backed by our QA and technical managers. Estimates are reviewed before they reach you, standards are kept consistent as teams grow, and coverage is there when someone is out — so estimating quality holds up month after month.

That's also why we cap how many new teams we set up at once: each team is hand-built and trained on the client's business.

Engagement options

As much estimating capacity as you need.

Start small or build a full desk — every option gets a dedicated, managed, QA-backed team.

Full-time

Your own estimating desk

One or more full-time estimators who work only on your bids, as a permanent extension of your team.

Part-time

Steady, right-sized capacity

A dedicated part-time estimator for companies that bid regularly but don't need a full seat — yet.

As-needed

Capacity for busy seasons

Extra estimating help when bid calendars stack up, from estimators who already know your standards.

Getting started takes one call: a free 1-hour pre-construction assessment. Setup takes about an hour, and your estimator is typically on your bids in under 7 days. Questions? Read our estimating FAQs.
