This Estimating Services Disclaimer summarizes key limits that apply to the services and deliverables of Bidding Enterprise LLC ("Bidding Enterprise," "we," "us"). It is part of, and is governed by, our Terms of Service. If a signed client services agreement applies, that agreement controls where it conflicts.

Estimates are for bidding purposes only

All estimates, takeoffs, quantities, unit rates, labor hours, prices, and other deliverables are prepared to support your bidding and pre-construction decisions. They are estimates and professional opinions based on the drawings, specifications, addenda, and other information available at the time — not guarantees of actual quantities, costs, or outcomes. They are not engineering, architectural, surveying, or other licensed professional services, and they carry no professional seal.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that you will win or be awarded any bid, or any win rate, revenue, margin, profit, savings, project cost, schedule, or other business result. Examples and statistics on this website are illustrative only.

No warranty of accuracy

Deliverables may contain errors or omissions, and actual quantities and costs may differ. We do not warrant that any deliverable is accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose. Market data, cost data, and subcontractor or supplier quotes are provided as received, without verification. We rely on the documents you and others provide and are not responsible for errors, revisions, or missing addenda in them.

You must review and verify all work

Before you use any deliverable or submit any bid, proposal, or price, you must independently review, check, and verify it — including quantities against the current drawings and addenda, pricing, labor, markups, and scope. You are solely responsible for your final bid prices, quantities, scope inclusions and exclusions, code and specification compliance, contract terms, and all business decisions. Submitting a bid or otherwise using a deliverable means you accept it and take full responsibility for its use.

Software and AI-assisted tools

We use estimating software and AI-assisted tools, including our Build Intel software and Dexter co-estimator. Their outputs are reviewed by our people but may still contain errors. Your review obligation applies to all deliverables, however they were prepared.

Calculator outputs on this website are rough illustrations only, not estimates; verify all quantities. Articles, guides, sample deliverables, and FAQs are general information, not professional advice.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE WEBSITE, SERVICES, AND DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIDDING ENTERPRISE LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED AS SET OUT IN SECTION 10 OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

Work delivered during the 15 days of free estimating (or 15 free days of any other service) is subject to this Disclaimer and our Terms of Service in the same way as any other work, including your obligation to review and verify it before use.
